While is this in no way an exhaustive list, it can help you gain a better understanding of what a low residue diet looks like – in case you decide to follow this diet plan.

HOWEVER, please realize that the Mayo Clinic has proven that a HIGH-fiber diet actually cures more diverticulitis cases than a LOW-fiber diet – meaning this diet may relieve some of the symptoms of your stomach problem while at the same time making your illness last longer!
